Whelen Siren Microphone Repair Kit Replacement Cartridge For 295hfs Series

Description

Most bad microphones on sirens are either bad PTT switch(5%) or bad microphone cartridge or element(95%)
Whelen microphone in picture 2 not included just shown for example
This kit allows you to replace the cartridge easily
Remove the three screws from back of mic
Open and remove old cartridge in center
Cut wires at cartridge
Splice new cartridge wires on and crimp white butt splices by flattening with regular pliers
You're done, takes less than 5 minutes
This 600 ohm cartridge will work on all Whelen 295 series sirens and most other manufactures that use a dynamic microphone
Will not work with Whelen Cencom or any other condenser powered microphones
Includes cartridge with 6" leads and 2 b splices
