The 865 Preformed Loop is ideally suited for drive-thru applications when used in conjunction with the
Marsh 610 Loop Vehicle Detector
. It is also compatible with other brands of vehicle detectors.
Unlike other products that call themselves "Prefomed Loops" but are just coils of wire, our loop comes encased in PVC tubing which protects it from damage and "pre-forms" the loop into an 18-inch by 54-inch rectangle. Also, because it is self-contained, the 865 Preformed Loop greatly reduces installation time.
The five-turn Model 865C Preformed Loop is designed for on-site installation prior to pouring pavement material.
If your pavement has already been poured, the
Marsh Products Model 867 Saw-Cut Loop Kit
is a better choice.
