Description
This is a fan timer used to control fan clutch operation. It sends the signal to the solenoid. At times the ECM may lose the ability to control the Fan Clutch. With this timer you can have the fan come on with the ac and or engine temp. The fan will then stay activated until engine temp cools or the AC signal is satisfied. But the benefit of using this timer instead of a simple switch is with the AC signal the fan stays on for a set time period, instead of cycling on and off. This mimics the late model fan operation.4 wires to connect. Comes with diagram and pigtail. Threads into any 1/2 inch pipe thread female connection port on the hot side of the coolant flow.
Can be used on standby equipment as well. The AC signal can be replaced with a oil temp signal. That would allow the coolant temp or the oil temp to activate the fan.
