A little wider than a U.S. quarter....... but thinner.
Do not confuse this coin with the smaller 1 ducat.

My photos do not do it justice ...It's as nice as any coin, in my opinion, that I have seen like it
any where on the internet.
It has been in our family since it was brought here from Germany at the end of WWII.
Like many of these coins, it has a mild "fold" that people used to test them in the old days
to be sure the coins were true gold.
