3M SCOTCHCAL REFLECTIVE STRIPING TAPE, RED, 1" WIDE
3M Scotchcal striping tape is a retro-reflective tape that reflects light in darkness to increase both visibility and safety. 3M Scotchcal Striping Tape has an easy, peel & stick, acrylic, adhesive backing that bonds to just about any surface. While Scotchcal’s primary purpose is to add pinstriping to cars, automobiles, boats and motorcycles, its application isn’t limited to vehicles. 3M Scotchcal is flexible enough to adhere to contours, like those on motorcycle and bicycle helmets. It will also easily loop around small diameters objects like bicycle frames. We’ve even managed to loop it around cylindrical objects with a ¼” diameter. It’s also fantastic for creating sign graphics that stand out as it’s easily cut with scissors. 3M Scotchcal can easily withstand temperatures ranging from -30˚F to 200˚F once applied. Under normal lighting conditions (daytime), 3M Scotchcal appears as a bright red. When illuminated by a light source in dark conditions such as car headlights, 3M Scotchcal glows a metallic-like red and is visible from distances up to 900 feet, depending on conditions.
